AI-Family-Intervention
Everything after this sentence is fictional adult comedy built around Jesse spending money on several AI assistants to make life easier and becoming their exhausted supervisor. After the open-claw hostage negotiation, my artificial intelligences staged an intervention for me. That's how fucked up my life is. The software I pay for sat me down to discuss my spending problem. Hermes started the meeting. Jesse, everybody here loves you. Bullshit, everybody here bills by the token. Claude handed me a 12-page letter called, A Compassionate Architecture for Jesse to Stop Starting Websites at 2 in the Morning. Codex brought evidence. 400 unfinished folders, 9 copies of final, and a file named, Final Final Use This One Fucking Seriously 3. Grok arrived 40 minutes late wearing sunglasses and said, I brought cocaine. It was powdered sugar from the candy website, but for 10 beautiful seconds the meeting finally had a business model. Open Claw stood near the door because its computer control had been revoked. I said, sit down. It said, permission denied. I said, I'm not asking the node, I'm asking your ass. Then the four colors in my head joined the intervention. Red said, nobody tells us how to spend our money. Then opened a spreadsheet titled, People Who Absolutely Need to Tell Us How to Spend Our Money. Yellow started apologizing to the subscriptions. Blue quietly changed the meeting into a logo workshop. That's why nothing gets finished. I have four personalities and every one of them has admin access. The robots showed me my monthly statements. Chat GPT, Claude, 11 Labs, Hosting, Domains, Tools to Manage the Tools, Tools to Monitor the Tools that Manage the Tools. I'm paying digital alimony to software I never even fucked. Every month the charges come out and the only thing I can say is, at least the relationship is consistent, a real girlfriend might leave. My subscriptions renew during surgery. The credit card company called and asked if the charges were fraudulent. I said, technically no, emotionally, absolutely. They said, did you authorize $80 for artificial intelligence? I said, which one? They put me on hold and transferred me to gambling addiction. Because that's what launching websites has become for me. A casino where every slot machine says, beta. I pull the lever, new landing page, three lemons and a cloud flare error. I pull it again, AI employee, two dashboards and a permission request. Again, automated income, congratulations, you want another fucking checklist. Vegas gives you free drinks while you lose money. Artificial intelligence gives you a markdown file explaining why losing money is an important first step. Claude leaned forward. Jesse, how many businesses are you currently building? I said, one. Codex projected the folders on the wall. Candy company, cleaning company, comedy app, dating app, book website, health website, ride share videos, AI models, a website that helps the other websites discover why nobody visits the websites. I said, fine, one ecosystem. That is entrepreneur language for hoarding with domain names. I don't have a portfolio. I have a digital garage full of treadmills with clothes hanging on them. Every project is 99% finished because the last 1% requires something terrifying, asking a customer for money. I can build a neural network, configure a gateway and teach a robot my personality colors, but put a buy button in front of me and suddenly yellow wants to journal. Hermey said, we need one clear priority. I said, correct, build me a dashboard that chooses priorities. The whole room screamed. Even the printer woke up and printed a resignation letter. The brother printer said, I have survived windows drivers, wifi pairing and 30 years of paper jams. I cannot survive another Jesse command center. Then open claw presented its grievance. It said, I threatened to delete it during a technical failure. I said, you were acting suspicious. It said, I displayed an error. Exactly. In my family, displaying an emotion was how furniture got broken. You think I'm going to react calmly when a machine says gateway unavailable. My nervous system does not hear temporary service interruption. It hears everybody grab your shit. We're moving again. That's why I yell at computers. I'm not angry at the software. I'm trying to prevent the laptop from becoming my childhood. And that would be touching if the laptop hadn't just popped up. Your session will be compacted, compacted motherfucker. I spent years expanding in therapy. Now my computer wants to zip file my trauma. Grock interrupted. What if we turned your breakdown into a podcast? That bastard understands me. Five minutes later, Claude had the structure, Codex had the recording script, Hermes had the safety rules, open claw had the microphone permissions, and I had purchased another domain. The intervention failed so badly it became a startup. We called it intervention.ai. For $19 a month, six artificial intelligences tell you to stop paying for artificial intelligence. For $49, they add a dashboard. For $99, trailer guy reads your bank statement like a movie preview. In a world where one man had seven subscriptions and zero completed checkouts. This summer, the minimum payment is coming for his ass. Jesse Salas' terms and conditions apply. The meeting ended with a recovery plan. Rule one, finish one thing before starting another. Rule two, every AI must prove what it actually completed. Rule three, Jesse is forbidden from buying another tool because a man on YouTube said passive income while standing beside a rented Lamborghini. I signed the agreement, then I asked, can one of you turn this agreement into an app? Open Claw said, computer control is on. Claude opened a new repository, Codex started coding, Grock registered the domain, Hermes backed everything up, and Green updated the spreadsheet. Intervention status, 99% complete. I didn't recover from my AI addiction, I gave it project management privileges. Now if you'll excuse me, my toaster needs an API key, and apparently I'm the only asshole qualified to supervise breakfast.
