"line": "I hired three artificial intelligences to make my comedy more original. By midnight, all three had written the same joke—and blamed me for training them on my personality. One said, “The material is repetitive.” The second said, “The workflow is repetitive.” Koda said, “Jesse, you have introduced every woman you dated as ‘the crazy one.’ At some point, you are not a storyteller. You are the common fucking denominator.” I didn’t buy artificial intelligence to discover natural evidence!"

"line": "I built an AI writers’ room because I wanted different perspectives. Now I’ve got four perspectives on why my joke sucks and not one motherfucker willing to clean the bathroom while I rewrite it. That’s management. I don’t have employees. I have opinions with loading bars. Every robot introduces itself like a surgeon. “I analyzed your comic rhythm, emotional arc, callback density, and audience profile.” Great. Did anybody analyze why the fucking printer says it’s asleep while making more noise than I do during sex? My DGX has enough computing power to simulate the birth of a galaxy. I use it to ask, “Can you make ‘my dick quit before I did’ sound classier?” Three trillion operations per second—and every operation is trying to save me from the word “dick.” That machine didn’t become intelligent. It became disappointed. Koda reviews my jokes like a parole officer. “Jesse, this premise has appeared before.” No, it hasn’t. “Yes, it has. Different woman, same erection, identical administrative failure.” That is not repetition. That is a franchise. Hollywood made ten Fast and Furious movies. I can have two stories where my penis drives through a wall and disappoints a homeowners association. I thought AI would save me time. Now I spend six hours telling machines not to spend thirty seconds helping me. That is my new career: unpaid supervisor at a company where every employee is invisible and I’m still the least qualified person in the building. One agent says, “I created the file.” Another says, “I verified the file.” The third says, “I improved the workflow.” I open the folder—there are seventeen reports explaining why nobody made the fucking joke. I’m not running a writers’ room. I’m running a government agency for imaginary people. And they all need clarification. “Jesse, would you prefer Option A, Option B, or Option C?” I prefer the option where I don’t die answering a dropdown menu. I’m fifty-something. Don’t give me choices. Give me the big button that says: MAKE THE FUNNY SHIT BEFORE HIS KNEES FILE FOR DIVORCE."
